As Restaurant Supervisor you will play a crucial role in the success of our new restaurant "Papa's Loft House" in the Element by Westin Amsterdam hotel, in shopping mall Gelderlandplein. A great challenge to introduce this restaurant in Amsterdam together with us. In this position you will manage the restaurant team, take care of staff planning and distribution and coordinate activities and act as host / hostess. You will report to the Operational Manager.

Papa's is a proven concept since 1989, with a location in the Haarlemmermeer Woods in Hoofddorp, situated on a beautiful lake. A DAY IN THE LIFE...

• As a supervisor you will manage the team and be responsible for the restaurant and the creation of an ultimate guest experience ("good vibes") during the shift;
• You will take care of the daily staff planning and distributing and coordinating activities based on occupancy/reservations;
• You are a role model for the team;
• You play an important role in ensuring that the product (the restaurant, the team, the food, drinks and service) and the guest experience of Papa's Loft House are of high quality and in line with the strategy of the brand (enjoy "home away from home" & "good vibes").

Are you the spider in the web with a passion for hospitality, who has it in spades to inspire a team of young, energetic employees? Cliché but true; you are a host/hostess in heart and soul. You have an inspiring personality and, as a coach of a young team, you know how to enthuse, develop and guide the employees in the right way.

MUST HAVES

• Preferably a completed hospitality education.
• Minimum of two years' experience in the hospitality industry.
• Management experience is an advantage. We also like to plan an introduction to people who want to make a step towards leadership.
