As General Manager, you are ultimately responsible for the two Papa's locations: Papa's Beach House in the Haarlemmermeersebos and the yet to open Papa's Loft House in the Element by Westin, Gelderlandplein Amsterdam. Within this unique, new position you will be the strategic brain, but you will also be involved with the operation in a dynamic working environment within an enterprising and growing organisation. As GM, you are responsible for propagating and continuously developing the Brand Identity. Your management team consists of the two Operational Managers of the branches and the two Head Chefs, you manage the sales team and you also work closely with the Marketing Manager, the Human Resource Manager and the Technical Manager. You report directly to the Director.


You work from both locations and plan your working days based on where the priority lies. You have weekly meetings with your department heads where you support and coach them. You ensure that both locations run smoothly and you protect the Brand Guide Lines. Besides that you like to brainstorm about the new menus & sales concepts with the F&B team and you keep yourself busy with all developments on the market. You also take care of the optimal marketing of both locations as Event Venues, you are well informed about what is possible within the Event Venues and what the market needs. Together with your sales team you ensure that there is a strong sales strategy and that budgets are met. Together with the Marketing Manager, you develop the marketing campaigns around the different F&B concepts and you make sure that all statements are in line with the Brand Guide Lines. You take care of all F&B contracts and keep in touch with all suppliers. You are well aware of what the agreements are and make sure that the purchasing policy is followed by the operational teams.


Papa's has been a proven concept since 1989, with a location in the Haarlemmermeer Woods in Hoofddorp, situated on a beautiful lake. Soon also a location in the Element Hotel located in shopping mall Gelderlandplein with a fantastic rooftop; called Papa's Loft House. Our products are pure, fresh and local.   • A completed bachelor's degree in hospitality
  • Relevant hospitality experience with similar brands and you have managed teams before
