As a Hostess at Barraca Amsterdam, you are the face of our brand-new Rodizio Grill & Bar on the bustling Max Euweplein. You welcome guests with flair, ensure they receive a warm welcome, and escort them to their table. With your hospitable demeanor and overview, you ensure a smooth start to every Barraca experience.

From the moment we open, you play an important role in the first impression guests have of us, and that must, of course, be unforgettable.

About Barraca

Barraca is the spectacular Rodizio Grill & Bar concept from Claus Group. Rodizio is an authentic Brazilian food concept, where a wide range of meats are prepared on the grill and cut and served at the table by a team of Passadores. In addition, there is unlimited access to the extensive Fresh Market Table and various side dishes served at the table.

Following our success in Hoofddorp, we will soon be opening our new location in the heart of Amsterdam, and you can be there from the start!

What will you be doing?

As a Hostess at Barraca Amsterdam, you will ensure a warm and organized welcome. You will:

• Greet guests with a smile and escort them to their table;

• Keep track of reservations, waiting times, and table arrangements;

• Answer guests' questions and ensure a pleasant first impression;

• Work closely with the wait staff and supervisors on the floor;

• Ensure correct bills and a correct payment process;

• Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays;

• Ensure accurate sales figures at the end of the shift.

In short: you set the tone for the ultimate Barraca experience.

What do you bring to the table?

• You have a presentable, friendly, and hospitable appearance;

• You keep track of things and remain calm, even during busy moments;

• You communicate easily and enjoy talking to guests;

• You are flexible, including evenings and weekends;

• Experience as a hostess or in the hospitality industry is nice, but not a must. We are happy to teach you everything!
